Milasso olive oil is made from Memecik olives grown in the fertile soils of Milas and harvested early. We press the olives in our own factory, using a state-of-the-art automated closed system designed for cold extraction. Milasso is a balanced extra virgin olive oil for everything from salads to hot dishes.

Early Harvest, Cold Pressed, from Milas
Milasso olive oils are made from Memecik olives grown by farming families in Milas, Muğla — a region whose olive oil carries an EU Protected Designation of Origin. Olives for the Ultra Premium range are hand-picked green early in the season; those for the Premium 5 L range, made for everyday cooking, are picked in November once ripe. Both are cold-pressed the same day in a closed, light- and oxygen-free system. The result, verified by laboratory analysis of every batch: free acidity below 0.3% and polyphenols above 350 mg/kg in the Ultra Premium range; below 0.5% acidity and above 250 mg/kg in the Premium range made for everyday cooking. Why Early Harvest Matters

- Which olive variety does Milasso use?
- All our oils are pressed exclusively from the Memecik variety grown in Milas, Muğla, on Türkiye's southern Aegean coast. Memecik is naturally rich in polyphenols and is the signature cultivar of the region's PDO-protected olive oil. See our Memecik olive oil guide.
- What are your lab values?
- They depend on the range. Ultra Premium: free acidity below 0.3% and polyphenols above 350 mg/kg. Premium, our everyday cooking oil: below 0.5% acidity and above 250 mg/kg. Peroxide value stays at or below 10 across the range, and the legal extra virgin limit for acidity is 0.8%. These figures come from the analysis of each harvest, and the measured values for the lot you receive are published on its product page.
